So, as many of you know, I’m learning Esperanto. It’s been a wild adventure and I have learned quite a lot already. For example, did you all know that doge is not a silly Homestar Runner reference, but rather an ancient title conferred upon the ruler of an italian city-state, like Venice? Ho man… did I ever not know that. But, I think I’m doing well. I have been using a deck of flashcards from one of the big Zagreb Method sites and according to Anki, the program I have to set up my spaced repetition, it seems I’m retaining and learning more. Yesterday, I retained 83.8% of the cards I have learned over the past few days. This is up from 83.7% the past few days.
